How We Make Beautiful White Lettering
On Our Rifles & Other Firearms

Step Four: Apply The White Lettering Filler Compound

The next step is to fill in the lettering which we wish to have highlighted. After doing this numerous times we have found the best way to accomplish this is to use a circular action and basically cram the letters full of the grease pencil. We pay close attention to each letter making certain that it is completely full of the 'grease' from the china marker.

Good coverage is essential. When we have finished filling the letters, not only will they be occluded but the entire area around them will appear to be scribbled over in dozens of little circles. The photo below shows good coverage.
